Poker betting and learning to blame yourself by Dat

This week I?"'""d like to talk about betting and learning to blame yourself. Its been a very long time since I?"'""ve let poker from free online poker or high stakes casino upset me , my emotions, or my game play. It is called gambling for a reason. Now mind you I don?"'""t jump for joy when someone nails a runner runner str8 on me but I always break down how the hand went and in I?"'""d say 90% cases its my own fault not the "donks".

Here?"'""s a list of common mistakes that I make, that being said there is a time and place for everything in poker and just because I was wrong in all these cases doesn?"'""t mean it was a bad or wrong play it was just the wrong place and time for it.

1) I limp in preflop allowing the blinds and anyone else with good pot odds to follow along with just about anything. This let them hit cards you'd have to be david copperfield to figure out and hit draws that are harder to see then say flushs or 1 card str8's.

2) I nail a good flop, notice no flush draws on board so I slowplay 1 card instead of betting. What I didn?"'""t see what the gut shot str8 draw on board and of course once again let them run all over me.

3) I just bet the min with my good hands in hopes of dragging some along to build up the pot. End up dragging to many people along and my hand odds go out the window.

Like I said b4 there is nothing wrong with these moves but if you break down how hands were played I think you'll find these are where you'll end up letting someone beat you the most. Mix it up a lot, with your real nice hands try betting preflop whatever you feel comfortable with, the idea of betting here isn?"'""t to win more money its to get players off of pot odds and junk hands.

I think you'll find that once you start looking for way to blame your own play you'll really start to think about situational poker and where and when to do what and how much to do it for. That being said no one in the history of poker has been correct 100% of the time but your only chance at it is if you mix up your play, I'll talk more about how this is true next week. Thanks

Now I?"'""m sure you'll all saying oh these NoPayPOKER players won?"'""t fold no matter what you bet, maybe not but at least you tried. Now if there?"'""s someone very aggressive at the table you can throw all that out and limp away, they will be controlling the action so you won?"'""t have too. Play the table as well as the cards.
